Sawyers Creek

rises in N central Camden County and flows S into Pasquotank River. Settlements existed at its mouth prior to 1677. See also Grays Mill.

Sawyers Ferry

appears on the Moseley map, 1733, on Pasquotank River in what is now Camden County N of Sawyers Creek. Site was in Pasquotank Precinct of Albemarle County. Later Shipyard Ferry operated nearby. See also Shipyard.
