rises in S Pitt County and flows S into Swift Creek.

East Branch Chicod Creek

formed in W Beaufort County by the junction of Juniper and Harding Swamps. Flows NW into Pitt County, where it enters Chicod Creek.

East Buffalo Creek

rises in central Graham County and flows SW into Santeetlah Lake.

East Buies Creek

rises in NE Harnett County and flows SW into Buies Creek. It appears as Hugh McCrarey's Creek on early maps of the region and later as Hugh's Creek.

former town in central Henderson County. Alt. 2,214. Inc. 1926; charter repealed by local action, 1948, and by act of the General Assembly, 1949. Est. as a commercial adjunct to the residential community of Flat Rock, which see.
