W Chatham County 10 mi. S of Siler City, a circular path about 40 ft. in diameter that old-timers say has "always" been there. Legend says the Devil appears there at night to walk in a circle while he plots against the good and thinks up new forms of evil. No vegetation will grow in the path. |
