Reading center poster

A classroom with a defined reading space can entice reluctant readers to practice more independent reading. In Mrs. Coffey's class, many students select nonfiction books — particularly books about nature and animals — over fictional ones. A poster hanging near the bookshelf gives an explicit reminder of how students can use the reading center.
