Crutchfield	community in SW Surry County on Yadkin River. Alt. 872.
Crutchfields Falls	rapids in Yadkin River, W Surry County near the mouth of Fishers River, S of the community of Crutchfield. The rapids comprise a fall of 4 ft. over a distance of approx. ¼ mi. Mentioned as early as 1819 in a survey of the rivers of the state.

Crystal Lake	E Moore County on Shaddock's Creek at the community of Lakeview. Formed in 1855 when Duncan Blue constructed a dam there; enlarged about 1908. Covers approx. 100 acres. Used for fishing, swimming, and boating.
