Creating and displaying a chart that illustrates various emotions can be a useful tool for students with ASD, who may need frequent reinforcement in order to gain a fluent understanding of various emotions. Teachers can support this process by verbally labeling emotions when they come up in the classroom or in a story the class is reading.
