Place	Description
Pineola	community in S Avery County on Linville River. Alt. 3,538. Post office est. there in 1911 as Saginaw. Name changed to Pineola in 1914 for the pine trees growing in the vicinity and for Ola Penland, daughter of a local hotel keeper.
