Yeopim Creekrises in S Perquimans County and flows SE into the mouth of Yeopim River. Appears as Clargeons Creek on the Collet map, 1770.
Yeopim Riverrises in Bear Swamp on the Chowan-Perquimans county line and flows SE along the line into Albemarle Sound. Named for the Yeopim Indian tribe. Appears on the Comberford map, 1657, at the location of present Little River on the Pasquotank-Perquimans county line, an error that was corrected on the Ogilby map, 1671. Appears as Yeopim Creek on the Collet map, 1770.
