Mount Squiresin Great Smoky Mountains National Park on the Swain County, N.C.-Blount County, Tenn., line between McCampbell Knob and Rocky Top near lat. 35°33'47" N., long. 83°44'30" W. Alt. 5,042. Named for state senator Mark Squires (1878-1938), a leader in the movement to establish the park. Formerly known as Little Bald.
