Rama, Sita and Laksman leave for forest (Thai Ramayana mural)

Rama, Sita and Laksman leave for forest (Thai Ramayana mural)

A mural painting at the Emerald Buddha Temple shows Rama, his wife Sita, and his brother Laksman as they are leaving with a procession to go to the forest. Laksman appears on the left, Sita in the sedan chair in the middle, and Rama with his characteristic green face appears on the right. Their supporters each carries a long lance.
