New Bern town seal

The side of the town hall building in New Bern, North Carolina, bears an image of the town seal -- a bear on a red and yellow coat of arms. New Bern was a Swiss settlement founded in 1710, and its seal is adopted from the seal of the canton of Berne, Switzerland.
